FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOME / FAQS

How long have you been open and operating?

I opened June 5, 2023, however I have a lifetime of experience with children. I started babysitting at age 10 and my love for children has only grown since then. I have five children of my own, plus grandchildren.

What was your previous job?

I was a Project manager in a legal capacity for many years. My project management skills serve me well as I manage all aspect of owning a childcare business.

Why did you leave your last job?

I learned during COVID that I need more stimulation and activity in my days. I crave and preform better in more hectic situations. My role had become a bit mundane, repetitive and did not provide much of an impact. The children in my care provide me with the fast paced environment I crave, and make me laugh daily!

Do you go outside?

Yes, weather permitting! I have a large, fenced in yard with a large play-set and a variety of outdoor toys.

What do you charge?

Please contact me for current rates and no obligation.

How much time off do you take?

Please contact me for a current list of holiday closures and paid time off.

Do you accept childcare assistance?

Yes I do. I just need to be registered in your home county.

Why do I have to pay for my child on days he/she doesn’t attend, holidays and vacations?

Essentially, you are paying for your spot, not for attendance. For example, if you rent a car for a week, you pay a rate regardless of how many days you use the car. This allows us to have an opening for your child as needed and helps me stay in operation.

What do you feed the children?

I participate in the food program and am required to follow certain guidelines to provide a well balanced diet of a variety of foods. I provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
